Klaus Weiland
is a guitarist and a singer/songwriter from his heart and soul. His style was influenced
in the beginning, the late sixties, by the English virtuosos John Renbourne and Bert
Jansch, by the German masterpicker Werner Lämmerhirt, and by the whole anglo-american
Protest and Folkmovement of that time. Today his songs show an additional side to this
Multi-faceted character: Freedom and a richness of being - not in any political or
materialistic sense, but out of the deepest conviction: Life is one glorious, gigantic
adventure. |

For nearly thirty years he has traveled, with Ingrid his partner in
adventure and life, first overland from Europe to India, then to North and Central
America. Attempting to cross the Gulf of Mexico in a self built sailboat, they saved their
lives in storm, by rescuing themselves onto an operating oil-rig in the middle of the
night. For many years in New Orleans, and Key West, Florida, he now lives with his family
in Texas. Click here for
